Chris is a Managing Director in PwC’s Forensic Services firm in Toronto, ON. He provides experience in electronic investigations and compliance to best practice and regulatory standards. Chris is specialized in computer forensics and technology based investigations. Chris is also a multiple award winner and international speaker on cybercrime, digital forensics, and Canadian search and seizure law.

Prior to joining PwC, Chris was a Police Officer and had 15 years with a Canadian Police Service. During this time, he specialized in managing cases involving child sexual abuse material. He has been qualified multiple times as an expert witness in computer forensics and the appropriate forensic handling of electronic evidence. He provided educational lectures to judges, lawyers, and investigators from across the country, and on the international stage.

Chris has a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. He has also accumulated many technical and investigative courses during his years as a Police investigator.

Chris is a Certified Cryptocurrency Forensic Investigator (CCFI), a CypherTrace Cryptocurrency Certified Examiner (CTCE), and holds the Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC)
