Tony was appointed as GSK’s Head of UK Litigation and Assistant General Counsel in December 2014, having previously held the position of Partner at a US law firm. His practice involved managing large commercial disputes and arbitrations, as well as advising governments and companies on anti-corruption matters, including specialising in recovering the proceedings of corruption stolen by dishonest public officials, through the use of civil remedies. His work has taken him to many parts of Africa including Nigeria, Malawi, Mozambique, Tunisia, Algeria, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, Cameroon and many other locations outside of the African continent managing investigations and disputes. A particular highlight of his work was collaborating with Transparency International UK in being instrumental in the development of the unexplained wealth order.
