H.E. Mr. Nabil Ben Khedher

Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia

In September 2017, Mr Nabil Ben Khedher was appointed Ambassador of Tunisia to London, where he had previously served as Economic Counsellor, from 1999-2004.

After entering the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994, Mr Ben Khedher held many positions within the Ministry and abroad.  He served in the cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1997-1999 and was appointed deputy director for Latin America (2005-2007) and for Japan and Korea(2007-2009).  He specialised in European affairs during his years at the Tunisian Embassy in Brussels from 2009-2014.
 
While Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Republic Beji Caid Essebsi from 2015-2017, he liaised between the Presidency of the Republic and the MFA on matters and dossiers related to Tunisia’s foreign policy. He also contributed to the preparation and follow up of important presidential visits abroad (state visits to France, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy…) as well as the President’s participation to regional and international Summits (especially G7/G20).
 
Mr Ben Khedher graduated from the Higher Institute for Commercial Studies in Carthage in 1991. He holds master’s degrees from the University of Aix-Marseille II and the University of Paris Dauphine as well as a Certificate from the Oxford University Foreign Service Programme.
