Senior Economist for Africa, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe (SMBCE)

Naa Aku Jäätma is the Senior Economist for Africa at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe (SMBCE) based in London. Naa Aku advises the Bank and it’s clients on country risk with respect to transactions in Trade, Corporate and Project Finance. She is a frequent traveller to African countries meeting with members of the public and private sectors.

Naa Aku holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School and a B.A. in Economics and French from Swarthmore College. She is originally from Ghana.
