Managing Director

Tim is a finance professional with more than 25 years’ experience including more than 15 years in sport, media, advertising and entertainment and is currently working as an adviser for a capital solutions firm in the sporting sector where he has worked with clubs as diverse as MLS team Inter Miami, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City and Peterborough United.

From 2015 until February 2021, Tim served as Chief Financial Officer and member of the San Siro stadium management company board at Italian football club FC Inter Milan, where he held responsibility for financial, strategic and management reporting and the Group’s financing and capital structure. While at Inter, Tim led the issue of structured bond and Revolving Credit Facilities totalling €425m as well as securing short-term lending on numerous occasions. Tim also has extensive experience of the UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations after leading Inter Milan to the successful conclusion of a four-year FFP Settlement Agreement in 2019.

Prior to joining Inter Milan, Tim served as Group Financial Controller for Manchester United FC between 2009 and 2015.
Tim trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Leeds and Manchester and held senior finance roles for United Utilities PLC and advertising agency McCann Erickson. Tim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University, where he is also visiting professor of the Business School and member of the advisory board of the newly established Institute of Sport.
