Christine Tabbert is the Deputy Director of Operations in the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission. In this role she is responsible for overseeing the Case Assessment, the Office of the Whistleblower, Disruption, and Data Analytics, among other enforcement operations. Christine began her legal career with almost 15 years at a major Canadian law firm where she practiced securities and pension litigation and was Vice-Chair of the Ontario litigation department. Upon leaving the firm, Christine became in-house counsel and Corporate Secretary to the investment and mutual fund dealer businesses of a major Canadian financial institution. Prior to joining the OSC, Christine was senior political staff in the federal government, serving as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence.
