Accommodation, food and drink, activities and entertainment included in the conference program will be covered by the conference budget.
The conference budget allows for hotel accommodation at the Hilton London Metropole as follows:
– Three nights from Thursday, November 7 for participants traveling from Africa, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, the US, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
– Two nights from Friday, November 8 for those traveling from all other locations.
Hotel reservations for the conference must be made through the DLA Piper online registration process. All reservations will be booked centrally. Do not make reservations directly with the Hilton as there are special conference arrangements in place. Your reservation will be confirmed through the firm’s conference communication process and not directly by the Hilton.
Combining the conference with vacation
If you choose to extend your stay in London, all additional costs are at your personal expense and may not be submitted for reimbursement. This includes additional expenses for travel, accommodation, meals and airport transfers in London.
If family members or other guests are sharing your room during the nights covered by the conference budget, there will be a supplement charge of £10 plus tax, per person, per night, payable by you to the hotel at the time of check-out.
If an additional guest room is required, this will be subject to availability at the time of booking and payable by you to the hotel at the time of check-out.
Please contact the Event Team for information about room rates for extended stays and other details.
Please book vacation according to the usual procedure in your office.
Family and friends
Conference participation is for DLA Piper members, senior management and other guests invited by the firm. Family members or other personal guests may not participate in any meeting, meal or other conference activity. The travel and accommodation costs of family and friends traveling with you will not be paid for by the firm.
Full details regarding allowed expenses and reimbursement guidelines for out-of-pocket expenses will be published closer to the conference date.
