Chairman and CEO, Africa investor (Ai) Group

Hubert is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Africa investor (Ai) Group – a pan African Infrastructure Investment Holding Company for institutional investors.
He also serves as the Chairman of the CFA New York Society Global Asset Owners’ Advisory Council, the Chairman of the African Sovereign Wealth & Pension Fund Leaders Forum, and is the current Chair of The African Union ’s (AU) Heads of State Continental Business Network (CBN).
Hubert Leads Ai’s Pension and Sovereign Wealth Infrastructure Co-Investment Platform and also advises institutional investors, governments and development finance institutions on major infrastructure and private equity investments in Africa.

Hubert was instrumental in establishing the AU’s 5% Agenda Infrastructure Investment Initiative, for Pension and Sovereign Wealth Fund infrastructure investors, and is leading the African Green Infrastructure Investment initiative.

Hubert Chaired the CFA New York’s Asset Owner Councils Braintrust, to establish The CFA SDG’s-ESG Infrastructure Investment Impact Framework, launched with World Bank Group Treasurer, Jingdong Hua, during the 2020 World Bank Annual meetings.
Hubert holds an LLB in Business Law and an LLM Masters in International Commercial Law from the University of Sussex in England.
